
Installing Windows 98 Related Files
Follow the steps below if you want to install the files in the following folders (not installed at
the factory).
\add-ons \tools \drivers
A sufficient amount of free space in the C drive of the hard disk is neecssary to install the files.
1 Install the driver to use the DVD-ROM drive in the MS-DOS mode
(G= page 55)
2 Turn the computer on
3 If the [Panasonic] logo disappears, immediately press C Ctrl ] key
(until the menu is displayed)

[f the Wir[f the Windows desktop display appears, reboot the computer.
Select [Command prompt only]
Set the Product Recovery CD-ROM in the DVD-ROM drive
After C:\>, type in the following
L:\ENVADDFILE C Enter)

[L:] is the character assigned for the DVD-ROM drive. You may make a change
depending on the usage conditions of the computer.

Follow the on-screen instructions
With the above command, the files will be installed in the [C:\util\win98add] folder.
