Compressing and Mailing Moving Images (Movie Messenger)

It is possible to compress moving image file, attach it to a player (Windows 95/98 only) and

send it by mail.

• The mail software application that can activate from Movie Messenger is only Outlook

Express 5.x.

• Movie Messenger is compatible with AVI files (*,AVI) of the moving image DV format

included in DV Capture.

• Movie Messenger can also be opened by clicking [Movie Messenger] icon on the desk

top,

1 Open Movie Messenger from the ImageBrowser (c^ page 43)

Click the still form of a moving image to send by

mail

Double Click

Make the compression settings and compress the file

About the image file after compression

The size of the original image file will become smaller. In addition, the movements

may no longer move smoothly compared with the original moving image file, be

cause of the reduction in the number of frames per second.
