1 Disconnect AC adaptor and remove batteries from base unit.

2 Reconnect AC adaptor and reinsert batteries into base unit.

3 Check if telephone line cord is connected.

4 Use rechargeable Ni-MH batteries.

(Alkaline/Manganese/Ni-Cd batteries CANNOT be used.)
