Using the Automatic Printing Function
(Autoprint)
By connecting a Video Printer

equipped with a 5-pin Edit Socket and your
Movie Camera, you can automatically print out the still pictures with the
Photoshot Index. (l 32)
After making connections in the figure, set up the Video Printer as
necessary.

Search for the Still Picture where you want to start printing
with the Automatic Printing Function.
≥If you want to print all the still pictures recorded on the Cassette, rewind
the tape back to the beginning.

Set [VCR FUNCTIONS] >> [PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS] >>
[AUTO PRINT] >> [YES].
Or set [CARD FUNCTIONS] >> [CARD EDITING] >>
[AUTO PRINT] >> [YES].
≥Automatic printing starts.
≥Autoprint Function cannot provide Mega-pixel image.
To Cancel Autoprint
Push the Operation Lever towards [∫].

Personal Computer Connection Kit
Using the Personal Computer Connection Kit (optional), you can import still
pictures into your personal computer.
≥Use the Digital Still Picture Terminal [D.STILL PICTURE]

the Personal Computer Connection Kit.
≥When recording, be careful not to cut off the Time Code from the start of the
tape.
≥Importing the Moving Pictures or Voice Data is not possible.
≥For more details on the operating environment, connections, and

instructions.

Using the USB Connection Kit
Using the USB Connection Kit (supplied), you can import still pictures into
your personal computer.

Install the supplied USB driver.

Set the Movie Camera to Card Playback Mode.

Set the Movie Camera to Still Playback Mode.

Connect the supplied USB Cable

to [DIGITAL (to USB)]
Socket.

≥It enters PC connection mode.
≥The USB Connection Kit can be used with Windows98 Second Edition/Me/
2000.
≥Use the AC Adaptor as power source for the Movie Camera. (The Card or
its contents may be destroyed if battery power is lost while transmitting
data.)
≥Mode cannot be changed in PC connection mode by sliding [OFF/ON/
MODE] Switch.

and procedures, please refer to USB Connection Kit’s operating
instructions.
