Special Settings

Setting the FAX (FAX ONLY) mode ring count

This feature determines the number of rings after which the unit answers a call in the FAX (FAX ONLY) mode.

You can choose from 1 to 4 rings.

Helpful hints:

¡To answer a call before the unit does, increase the number of rings.

¡If you have difficulty in receiving faxes from machines that have an automatic transmission feature, decrease

the number of rings.

Press (MENU).

Display:

Press K, then @ G.

Press (START/COPY/SET).

Press or to select the desired number.

Press (START/COPY/SET).

Press (MENU).
