Pager Call

Pager iViode Setting

After subscribing to a Caller ID service (p. 34), you can select one of the

following pager mode settings. The unit will alert your pager:

1. after the unit records an incoming message (factory preset),

2. each time the unit receives a Caller ID call, even if the caller does not

leave a message.

If you want to change the mode, proceed as follows.

Press IPROGRAMI.

o The TALK indicator flashes.

Press iPLAYBACKl.

o “P” is displayed on the base unit.

Press ©.

o The current setting is displayed on

the base unit.

To select “2”, press (^.

To select “1”, press (T).

o The entered number is displayed

on the base unit.

Press [program!.

o A beep sounds.

o If you select “2” and set the unit to call a pager (p. 55), the unit will alert

your pager even if the answering system is not turned on.

o Even if you select “2”, the unit will not alert your pager when a Caller ID

call which does not have a phone number is received.
